Mrs. Harriett Swords

Wyoming, Nov. 7—Mrs. Harriett L. Swords, 66, died at her home in Wyoming at 7:45 p. m. Tuesday Nov. 5, after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Clara DeWolfe Cox and Walter Cox and was born Aug. 6, 1880,in Wyoming. She was united in marriage on Jan. 1, 1902, to Jarville M. Swords of Wyoming. With the exception of 23 years spent in LaFayette her entire life was spent in Wyoming.
Mr. Swords died Oct. 10, 1945.

Surviving are three sons Eugene of Peoria, Harold of Victoria and Walter of Galesburg. One brother, Edwin Cox of Los Angeles, Cal., two sisters, Mrs. Stella Kinsella and Mrs. Cora Jackson and half-sister, Mrs. Marie Winn, all of Wyoming.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. from the Gillespie Memorial Home with Rev. Allen Stowell officiating. Burial will be in the Wyoming cemetery. Friends may call at the Gillespie Memorial Home.
