HENRY FRITCHE OF GRASS LAKE TOWN PASSES AWAY

Prominent Grass Lake Man Dies Following Period of Poor Health

Henry Fritche, a resident of Grass Lake Township for the last twenty years, passed away at his home on Friday, March 4, having been in poor health for some time.
Henry William Fritche was born in Blue Earth county on December 6, 1874, and when three years old his parents moved to Minnesota Lake, and there he grew up to manhood and there he attended the public school and Sunday school at the German Methodist Church. At the age of 19 years he went to Waldorf, Minnesota, and there he was united in Marriage to Miss Katherine Jeddeloh on March 15 1898, and there they resided until the year 1902, when they moved to Ogilvie, Minnesota, and on November 20, 1913 they came to the Brunswick community and here he had since resided, being engaged in farming, passing away Friday evening at an age of 57 years, 2 months and 28 days.
To Mr. And Mrs. Fritche were born two children, a son and daughter. They are Clarence, at home, and Mrs. Fredolph Grundberg, of Brunswick.
At his untimely passing he leaves to mourn him his wife; two children six grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Fritche of Quamba, Charles Fritche of Faribault, Minnesota, and Albert and Herman Fritche of Waldorf, Minnesota; five Sisters, Mrs. Herman Jeddeloh of Ogilvie, Mrs. William Schoemaker of Pine City, Mrs. Frank Klinger of Ostico Minnesota, Mrs. Helmer Christeanson and Leana Fritche, both of Waldorf, and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 8th at one o'clock from the Erickson Funeral home and at two o'clock from the Brunswick Baptist Church, and Interment was made in the Riverside cemetery in Brunswick, with Rev. A. Paulson of Grasston officiating. Singing and Music were furnished by Mrs. D.C. Moody and Miss Elsie Moody. The pallbearers were Erick Nor din, Leo Strandlund, Alfred Peterson, Algot Strandlund, Edward Frase and Henry Bentz.
