Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, May 6 for Katherine Fr itchie of Mora, formerly of Brunswick. Services were held at 1 p.m. from t he Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Melvin Weseloh officiating.
Pallbearers were Walter Ryberg, Albert Hanson, Henry Holmberg, Arnold Hock enson, Victor Anderson and Ralph Williams. Interment was in the riversi de cemetery in Brunswick. The Rock-Randall Funeral Home was in charge of a rrangements.
Katherine Fritchie, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John Jeddeloh, was born M ay 1, 1877, in Waseca county Minnesota, where she attended rural and bib le school.
On April 10, 1892, she was confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church near Wald orf in Waseca County.
She was married to Henry Fritchie March 15, 1898, and they lived near Wald orf until 1902 when they moved to Kanabec County and resided south of Ogil vie.
In November 1913 they moved to a farm south of Brunswick where they have s ince lived.
Mr. Fritchie died in 1932 and she continued to live on the farm for many y ears until she entered the Martin Rest Home in Mora. She entered the Kanab ec Hospital April 4 where she died May 3, at the age of 95 years.
She is survived by: one son Clarence Fritche of Braham; one daughter, Mr s. Marie Grundberg of Chisago City; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchi ldren; one great great grandson; several nephews and nieces and other rela tives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry; five brothe rs and three sisters.
