He lived on the same farm southwest of Anthon all his life. His parents were Jeffery T. and Catherine (Coyne) Curtin. Jeff was a life member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 20, 1976, at 10 a.m. with Father J. G. Skahill officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery in Anthon under direction of Walter Funeral Home of Anthon. Survivors include two sisters, Sister Isabel Curtin of Clinton, Iowa, and Mrs. John (Anne) Brady of Marcus, two brothers, Matt of Sioux City and Daniel of Anthon. He was preceded by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
