Mr. Warneking was born at Syracuse, Neb., and before moving to Superior had farmed near Ong for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Tecklenburg, three daughters, Miss Thelma Warneking of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Everett Meyer (Ella) and Mrs. Dale Oltman (Irene) of Superior; three brothers, Fred of Superior, Emil of Deshler, and Walter of Bostwick, and many other relatives.
The funeral was held at the Salem Lutheran Church on Oct. 28. Rev. S. Haferman was the officiating clergyman. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery (sic) at Superior. -- Superior Express.
