He was united in marriage to Esther Maler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Maler, June 16, 1929. To this union five children were born, four sons, Marvin, Dale, Arlen and Gary; one daughter, Hazel. His son, Gary, preceded him in death one week, August 7, 1949.
In his youth he became a Christian and at the time of his death was a member of Grace Methodist Church of Fairmont.
Besides his immediate family, there are surviving his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schneider, five sisters, Mrs. Laura Smith, Mrs. Esther Sweem, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins of Pasadena, Cal., Mrs. Gladys Lutz of Caldwell, Idaho, Mrs. Fern Laster of Bishop, Cal., and one brother, Alvin of McCool, Neb., and a large number of relatives and friends.
