According to the marriage return, she was previously married before Hagen. If you note her husband's headstone, the spelling of his last name really is Haga although he used Hagen until the headstone. It looks like she chose to spell it Hagen on her stone. Her parents were W. B. Ippisch and Anna Hamel.
OBIT:
Theresa Hagen, 89, 900 South Ruby, died Sunday at Haven House Nursing Home. She was born March 6, 1888 at LaCrosse, Wisconsin and came west at the age of one year with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Wolfgang Ippisch.
She and John T. Hagen were married at Spokane in 1918. He preceded her in death September 23, 1961. Mrs. Hagen was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Anna Baubie of Batavia, New York and Mrs. Bertha Basi of Stayton, Oregon and several nieces and nephews including Melvin Brown of Quincy and Mrs. R. B. (Evelyn) McClure of Ellensburg.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Evenson Chapel. Father Arthur Waters will officiate and burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
