Eunice was the daughter of George Nathan Kinne and Nancy Mary Skinner Kinne. The family surname has also been spelled Kinney.

She married Edmund Dekalb Youngblood 23 Apr 1857 in Franklin County, Illinois. Edmund became a successful attorney and judge in southern Illinois.

According to a published biography of Edmund, he and Eunice were the parents of four children. Two known children were Eva Lucretia, born in 1861, who became the wife of Dr. J. F. Barton of Gallatin County, Illinois and Ella, born about 1866, who died between 1880 and 1887.
