In 1931 they moved into the town of Robinson and bought the town's first hotel, which was built , and owned by Bill and Dora Moores, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Knarr in 1921. It had several owners, including...the Ed Bullis family and Prentice family before Ole and Lizzie bought it for their home. The hotel was previously located on "Krum Street", then, North Main Street.
Ole and Lizzie rented out some of the rooms, and Lizzie's Mother and sister lived with them, until their deaths. They still had the home in the 1960's, but moved another home across from where her brother's Edgar and Jim Koenig, eventually lived. My father( Neil) Edgar Koenig's son, recalls staying in a room in the winter months so he was able to get to school.
Lena Elizabeth Saltness passed away from throat Cancer at St. Vincent's Nursing Home on July 10, 1980, in Bismarck, ND.
