SULLIVAN -- Alberta I. Sprinkle (nee Wacker), 72, of Sullivan, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Medina General Hospital, following a long illness.
She was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Norwalk.
She worked for many years as a clerk and cook at various locations.
She enjoyed growing flowers and a garden, making crafts and cooking.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Sprinkle Jr.; daughters Susan Twining of Sullivan and Robin Storrow of Wellington; sons Walter Sprinkle III of Nankin, Ohio, Thomas Sprinkle of Polk, Ohio, and Michael Sprinkle of Albion, Ohio; sisters Joanne Pasadyn of LaGrange, Audrey Scheck of Spencer, Ohio, Lavon Venus of Chatham, Ohio, and Betty Ann McConnel1 of New London; brothers Elden of Sandusky, Russell of Ashland, Leon, Paul and Gary, all of Wellington, Alan of Columbus and Robert of LaGrange; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ruby Krugman Wacker; and two grandsons.
Friends may call Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m., at Norton Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Penfield Community Church, 40775 SR 18 W., Wellington, with the Rev. Tom Keller, of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Huntington Township Cemetery.
