SAN PIERRE - Mrs. Sophia Ann Long, 91, San Pierre, died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday in Little Company of Mary hospital after a two-week illness.
Born May 2, 1871, at San Pierre, she was the daughter of Herman and Catherine (Cording) Luken.
She was married to Edward Long, who died in 1942.
She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Harry of Hanna and Ralph of San Pierre; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Batzka, Mrs. Julia Weinkauff and Mrs. Elizabeth Dolezal, all of San PIerre.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Luke's church. The Rev. Walter Luedtke will officiate, and burial will be in San Pierre cemetery.
Friends may call at Todd Funeral home, DeMotte, from this afternoon until 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
