Henry Luken, 79, farmer living near San Pierre, died in Holy Family hospital following several weeks' illness. He was born on the farm where he spent his entire life. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran church, Medaryville, and was married in December, 1901, to Lena Rath, of Medaryville. Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Koch and Miss Mae Luken, of Elgin, Ill.; three sons, Harold, of La Porte, Edward and Elmer, of San Pierre, and six sisters, all of San Pierre. The body was returned to Medaryville for the funeral and burial.
