1990; at Brentwood Care Center in
Le Mars after a 7-month illness.
Funeral was held at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday at St. John Lutheran church
in Merrill. Rev. Frank Philipp officiated.
Burial was in Le Mars
Memorial cemetery under direction
of Mauer-Johnson funeral home in
Le Mars.
Mr. Doering was born April 15,
1904, in Le Mars to Albert and Katharine
Lubben Doering. He married
Myrtle Bogner Sept. I, 1962, at
Merrill.
Mr. Doering was employed in
construction. He was a member of
Si. John Lutheran church, Merrill.
Survivors are his wife, Myrtle of
Merrill; a step-daughter, Carol and
her husband, Larry Johnson of
Omaha; a brother, Herb Doering of
I ake Stevens, Wash., and two step-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; three sisters and a brother.
