Katherine Doering

Mrs. Katherine G. Doering, 74, passed away in the Sacred Heart hospital Saturday, July 20. She had been ailing for several weeks.

Mrs. Doering was born May 14, 1883, in Grant Township and had lived her entire life in the LeMars vicinity. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church of LeMars.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s American Lutheran Church, Rev. L. L. Belk will officiate and burial will be in the LeMars City Cemetery. Mauer’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include three sons, Alfred of Merrill, Marvin and Herbert, both of LeMars; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Beeck of Struble; four step daughters, Mrs. Clarence Richardson, of Madison, S.D., Mrs. Theresa Hamman, and Mrs. Elmer Mammen, both of LeMars, Mrs. Wm. McManamen of Rapid City, S.D.; two step sons, Harry and George Doering of Madison, S.D.; three brothers, John and Henry Lubben of LeMars, Gerd Doering of Campbell, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Siebolt Harms and Mrs. Ulrich Kock of LeMars; and six grandchildren.
