Hebron, Indiana, Age 62, of Hebron, formerly of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008.
He is survived by three sons, Brad (Lisa) Koester of Hebron, Keith (Elizabeth) Koester of Whiteland, IN, Craig (Lori) Koester of Port Orange, FL; six grandchildren, William, Chase, Kai, Lakin, Cole and Layne Koester; three brothers, Larry (Linda) Koester of Newton, IL, Maurice (Pat) Koester of Ashmore, IL, Jerry (Lynette) Koester of Ashmore, IL; two sisters, Elaine (Tony) Lau of Decatur, IL, Joanne (Bob) Johnston of Neoga, IL; former wife, Linda Piesha of Crown Point.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Helen Koester.
Bill was a retired fork lift operator at the Ford Plant in Chicago Heights, with 30 years of service; an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict; and a graduate of St. Anthony High School, Effingham, IL.
He enjoyed farming and raising horses and livestock.

Graveside services will be held at St. Anthony Cemetery, Effingham, Illinois, 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, with Rev. Daren Zehnle officiating.
