Funeral for Elmer Henry Rolfes, 59, Lverne, Minn., was held at 11 a.m.
Saturday, Nov. 1, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Luverne, with Rev Peter Klein of Adrian officiating.
Internment was in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Luverne under direction
of the Holm Funeral Home at Luverne.
Mr. Rolfes, a Remsen native, died Oct 30,1986 at his home in Luverne of a heart ailment.
He was born Sept. 8,1927, at Remsen to Bernard and Caroline Rolfes, where attended school. He married Hilda Jochum at Alton on April 16,
1952.
The couple moved to Luverne in 1960 where he worked for Les' Foodland
until 1968. He then worked for Sather's Corporation of Round Lake, Minn, for 15 years. He was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church of Luverne.
Survivors are his wife, Hilda, Luverne; two sons, Steve and Donny of
Luverne; four daughters, Mrs. Gary [Janet) Pederson of Harwood, N.D.;
Mrs. Dave (Bev) Clausen of Brandon, N.D.; Mrs. Chad (Sue) Snyder of Willmar, and Barb of Luverne; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Rolfes of the
Akron Nursing Home, Akron; seven grandchildren; a sister, Sister Dorothy of Dubuque; six brothers, Arnold, Andy, Bernard, Leonaard and Lawrence, all of Le Mars, and Lester of Hinton.
His father preceded him in death.
