OBITUARY OF Joseph Willenborg
Joseph B. Willenborg was born in Douglas township, Effingham County, Illinois on May 2 1857, as the .son of Mr and Mrs Henry Willenborg, nee Elizabeth Hoffman. His death occurred at Home in Lillyville in Spring Point township, Cumberland County on October 2, 1934, making his age at the time of his death 77 years and 5 months.
About fifty-four years ago Mr Willenborg was united in marriage to Terese Helmink at Effingham. To this union five sons and three daughters were born, Theodore dying in infancy. Those surviving besides his wife are as follows: Tony of Teutopolis, John, Frank and Ferd of Lillyville, Mrs Frank(Mary) Holkenbrink, Mrs Tony (Rose) Dust and Miss Nettie Willenborg of Effingham. Five brothers and one sister, his twin, also survives. they are: Frank of Lillyville; Mrs Barney (Elizabeth) Goldstein, Tony, Clem and Ben, all of Effingham; and Henry of Teutopolis.
Funeral services were conduced from Sacred Heart Church at Lillyville Friday, October 6, 1934 with burial taking place in the Lillyville Cemetery. Rev Francis Mazir officiated.
