John Degenhardt
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Alma with burial in Alma cemetery for John Degenhardt, 73, who died Thursday in his home at Alma.
He was born in Topeka, but had lived in Alma about 60 years, being associated with the Socony Vacuum Oil Co. 37 years before retiring eight years ago.
He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Alma.
Surviving are his wife, Anna, of the home; two sons, Leo of Alma and Everett of Pleasanton, Tex; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Moore of 124 South Franklin and Sister M. Everette of Denver; three brothers, Adam of Alma, George of 944 Jewell and Joe of Redlands, Calif.; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Kraus of Alma, Mrs. Maggie Drebing of Cathedral City, Calif., and Mrs. Anna Davis and Mrs. Lena Dechand, both of Redlands, Calif.
