Mrs. Moore was a sales clerk for J.C. Penney from 1975 to 1984.
She was born Aug. 2, 1918, in Alma, the daughter of John and Anna Haller Degenhardt.
She was raised in Alma and graduated from high school in Alma. She attended Strickler's Business College in Topeka. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and the auxiliary to Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion.
She married Thomas J. Moore on May 16, 1947, in Topeka. He preceded her in death July 13, 1986.
A daughter, Sharon Ann Moore, preceded her in death in 1950.
Survivors include a son, Terry L. Moore, Topeka; two daughters, Carol A. Taylor and Cindy G. Frost, both of Topeka; and three granddaughters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Moore will lie in state after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
