Mrs. Emmaline Roland Peer, widow of Daniel Peer, a Civil War Veteran who passed away in this city six years ago, died last night at the home of her son, James T. Peer, of Coleman Avenue, Seventeenth Ward, aged 71 years. Her death was due to a complication of disease. Emmaline Roland was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Roland and was born at Saltsburg, Indiana County. She and Daniel Peer were married many years ago and lived in Westmoreland County until coming to this city almost seven years ago. Mrs. Peer was a sister of Mrs. Tillie Chaplin, of East End, Pittsburgh, and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Callahan, of Pittsburgh, and these sons- William T., of Bedford Street; James T., of Moxham; John W., of Walls; Daniel, of Turtle Creek, and David T. of Adamburg. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon, the services to be conducted by the Rev. Earl D. Weaver, pastor of the Park Avenue United Brethren Church. Burial will be made in Grandview Cemetery.
