Mrs. Frances Kouba passed away at the home of her son Paul, in Vining, Tuesday morning. She had been a semi-invalid for the past few years but, her condition did not become serious until last Sunday when she suffered a heart attack which with complications due to old age was the cause of her death. Mrs. Kouba was the oldest resident of Vining, having reached the age of 90 years last August. She leaves to mourn her death a daughter, Mrs. Frances Kouba of Vining and two sons, Paul of Vining and Frank of Colorado; also, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death many years ago, also tow daughters, Mrs. Anna Hladicky and Mrs. Hubert Kinner. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Congregational church of which Mrs. Kouba was a member. Burial was in the National cemetery near Vining.
