Services for Mrs. Frances Kupka, 83 Vining, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, at the Congregational church, Vining. Interment was in the Vining cemetery. Mrs. Kupka died Wednesday noon, January 11, at the Zigler nursing home, Tama, following a heart attack. She had been at the home since November. Surviving are a son, Karl, Toledo; a brother, Paul Kouba, Vining; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The Hrabak funeral home, Chelsea, was in charge of the service.
