Death Claims Aged Resident

Thomas R, Aylsworth, 76, died Friday morning at his place of residence 230 North Park St. Mr. Aylsworth had been in failing health for a number of years.

He was born Jan. 17, 1879, at Springfield, Ill. Several years later the family moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, where he made his home until 1919, moving to Hudson, Wyo., at that time. In 1928, they came to Casper.

Mr. Aylsworth had been a railroad man most of his active working life and had been in retirement in recent years.

His wife, Lena, passed away in 1948, and a son, Louis, lost his life overseas during World War II. Mr. Aylsworth is survived by four daughters, Mrs. L. J. Marco, Mrs. Leo H. Penn and Mrs. Pearl Shaw, all of Casper, and Mrs. Fred Miller, Billings, Mont.; a son, Charles, of Casper, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Paul D. Massey, Council Bluffs, and a brother, William A. Aylsworth, also of Council Bluffs.

He was a member of the First Christian Church and of the Casper Eagles Lodge.

Services and interment will be in Casper, with detailed arrangements to be announced later. The Bustard Funeral Home is in charge.

Funeral services for Thomas Aylsworth will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the Bustard Funeral Home. The Rev. E. E. Allen, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate. Burial will be beside his wife in Highland Cemetery.
