Adam Brown
Adam Brown, 92, of 210 S. 29th St., died Tuesday in a Billings hospital, where he had been a
patient for the past two months.
He was born, Feb. 2, 1875, in Russia and married Barbara Schifilbine there in 1896.
They came to Kansas in 1906 and moved to Colorado in 1914. In 1915 they moved to Sheridan,
Wyo., before moving to Billings in 1922.
They farmed near Billings until retiring in 1946. She died in 1956.
He was a member of Little Flower parish.
Survivors include five sons, John of 417 S. 35th St., Clarence of 113 S. 39th St., Adam of 314 S.
34th St., Pete of 210 S. 29th St., and Ed of Seattle, Wash.: four daughters, Mrs. Catherine
Degenhart of 219 S. 39th St., Mrs. Ed Goodman of 4543 Murphy Ave., Mrs. John Daubert of 130
Monroe St. and Mrs. Bob Jones of Everett, Wash.; 37 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Requiem mass will be sung 9:30 a.m. Friday at Little Flower Church. Rosary will be recited 8:15
p.m. Thursday from Dahl - Brown Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
