Mesquite - Mildred Lucille Allen, a retired nurse, died Friday at a Mesquite hospital. She was 72.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Burial will be in bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allen was born in Iowa and had lived in Mesquite for 32 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mesquite. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors: Husband of more than 50 years, Lee Allen of Mesquite; two sons, James Allen and John Allen, both of Mesquite; daughter, Cynthia Claybrook of Carrollton; three brothers, Mart Clarke of Napa, CA, Mel Clarke of Pacificia, CA and Guy Clarke of Des Moines Iowa, a sister, Mavis Mansell of Burleson; and one grandson.
