The following baptism record was found in the Church Book of St Peter and Paul, LDS film number 0909934. The film is entitled Cappeln St Peter and Paul Dekanat Cloppenburg Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany.

The following was found in the book, "Diocese of Springfield in Illinois Diamond Jubilee 1853-1928",

Clement Uptmor, at Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio, USA married Mary Elizabeth Niehaus and with his wife, and together with Clem Vahling and wife, and with his brother Herman Hy Uptmore and daughter Mary (Mrs Theodore Pruemmer) came to Teutopolis December 21, 1839.

Her marriage is recorded on page 532 of the Restored Hamilton County Marriage Records 1808-1849
