NAMPA (AP) — Herman H. Hergert of Nampa was kill almost instantly early today when he fell from a car four miles north of Mountain Home.
Ralph H. Halcom, driver of the car, reported Hergert opened the door and accidentally fell out on his head.
Death occurred about five minutes later. Hergert's death was the result of a broken neck, the Elmore county sheriff reported.
The two men were going to the Mountain Home airbase, where they have been employed.
