Daniel C. Mack, 46, of 415 Parsons Drive, Westvale, died Monday at home after a long illness.
Mr. Mack was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He retired in June 1994 from NYNEX after 25 years. He was a 1966 graduate of Westhill High School and attended Onondaga Community College.
He was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He coached in the Geddes Kiwanis Little League program and also was involved in the West End area soccer program. He was a member and past president of the Westhill Booster Club.
Surviving are his wife, the former Sandra Carocci; two sons, James D. and Ryan P. of Westvale; his parents, Joseph and Janet of Westvale; a brother, William F. of Onondaga Hill; three sisters, Barbara Czornij of Lakeland, Catherine Parenteau of Onondaga Hill and Mary Dorsey of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at the John C. Tindall Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1921 West Genesee St.
