Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Newton chapel for J. B. Schlosser, 80, 611 Locust street, who died at 10:30 p.m. in Perry Memorial hospital where he had been a patient a week. Rev. Max H. Geissler, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, will officiate with burial in Rose Hill cemetery, Carrier, Oklahoma.

Schlosser was born Feb. 20, 1883, at Schuyler, Neb., and was married Dec. 27, 1905 at Schuyler to Anna Bruna. She died Jan. 16, 1945. He married Dorothy Canfield in September, 1949 at Eureka Springs, Ark. She died in 1953. He had been in ill health the past year.

Schlosser moved from Nebraska to a farm west of Enid in 1909 and to a farm north of Perry in 1920. He has lived in Perry since 1949. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church at Perry. Survivors include one son, Edgar Schlosser, Lucien, Okla., one daughter, Mrs. John H. Dykes (and one granddaughter), Perry; several step-children and step-grandchildren; one brother, Adolph Schlosser, Scribner, Neb.; and two sisters, Mrs. Alma Johannes, Perry, and Mrs. Gus Brunken, Lincoln, Neb.
