Survivors include 2 brothers, William of Oak Crest Manor in Dyersville, IA, George "Jerry" Loecke of Manchester, IA; a sister-in-law, Eldora Loecke of Tampa, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Andrew, Bernard, Joseph and Leo Loecke, and 4 sisters, Catherine Koopmann, Ottilia Hellmann, Louise Kruse and Julia Loecke.

Lizzy was born on October 6, 1911, in New Vienna, Iowa, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Vaske) Loecke. She was a homemaker both at the farm with her brothers and she hired out for others. She also worked at the Glover Factory from about 1940 –1950.
