Son of Benjamin Jolly & Lovina Isabelle (Sparrow) Morris. Sibling to; Marion Clayton, Minnie A, John F, Margaret Ellen, Emma I, Mary Leona, Lovina, Rose M, Benjamin Levi and Anna Artielmus Morris. He was the 10th of eleven children. He is buried along side his mother.

Summary
Roy Morris was born in Western Nebraska, Oct 20, 1889, ((NOTE - headstone Nov) and died at Sutherland, NE. of cancer, April 12, 1917. He had been suffering for the past few years, the last three months he had suffered untold agonies. He was a man of sterling characteristics and the way he bore his sufferings won him respect and admiration of the entire community. He leaves to mourn his loss, father, five sisters and two brothers.
The body was brought to Lisco yesterday and funeral services will be held today from the Advent Church, interment will be made in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
