Norman A. Troendle, 69, of Ardmore Place died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Troendle was a life resident of Syracuse. He retired in 1993 from Carrier Corporation after 45 years.
He was a veteran of the Army.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jean Steinbach; two daughters, Cynthia Caiello of Syracuse and Suzanne Villarreal of Clarksville, Tenn.; a brother, Robert of Syracuse; a sister, Clarabelle Troendle of Syracuse; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Keegan-Osbelt-Knight Funeral Home, with the Rev. Matthew Schneider-Adams officiating. Burial is in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 900 N. Salina St.
