Obituary from the Shreveport Times newspaper, Sep. 30, 1983, Friday, p. 14:

SHREVEPORT – Graveside services for Mrs. Rosabel C. Cahn, 84, of Shreveport will be held at 11 a.m. Friday Sept. 30 at Greenwood Cemetery. Rabbi Richard Zionts and Rabbi David Lefkowitz will officiate. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Marshall Street Chapel.

Mrs. Cahn, a native of Little Rock, Ark. and a resident of Shreveport for 62 years, died Sept. 28, 1983, at Schumpert Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a homemaker and a member of B’Nai Zion Sisterhood, Addassah.

Mrs. Cahn was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Cahn, the founder of Cahn Electric. She is survived by three daughters, Betty C. Grant and Mrs. Henry C. Dreyfuss, of Shreveport, Carrolyn C. Fleishman of Tampico, Mexico; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
