Obituary from the Shreveport Times newspaper, Jan. 24, 1981, Saturday, p. 7-A:

SHREVEPORT – Mr. Henry E. Cahn, 90, of 235 Gladstone, Shreveport, Chairman of the Board of Cahn Electric Co., died at 6 p.m. Thursday Jan. 22 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Cahn was past President of the National Electrical Contractor Assn., past President and member of B'nai Zion Temple, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of Rotary International. He was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday Jan. 25, 1981 at Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport, with Rabbi Richard Zionts, Past of B'nai Zion Temple, and Rabbi David Lefkowitz, Jr., Rabbi Emeritus of the Temple, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel.

Mr. Cahn is survived by his wife, Rosabel C. Cahn of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Grant and Mrs. Jules H. Dreyfuss, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. H. H. Fleishman of Tampico, Mexico; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Cahn Electric Co.
