The Body of ERASTUS NIELSEN, son of N.P. Nielsen of this city, was brought here on Wednesday evening from San Pedro, Cal., where he died on January 4 from Diabetes. Mr. Nielsen was born in Richfield on July 6, 1880, and lived here his entire life until fifteen months ago when his health was such that he was urged to go to California and try the sea shore as a aid to health. For several months the change of climate acted like a tonic and he grew better. Later diabetes again attacked him and he grew steadily worse until his death relieved him.

He was a young man of steady habits, and was highly respected here. He had remained single and only his father, five brothers and one sister remain to mourn his demise.

The father in N.P. Nielsen, a hightly respected and aged citizen of Richfield. His brothers are Taylor, Nephi, and Ammon of Richfield; Dorius and Peter Nielsen of San Pedro, Cal., and Mrs. James Chalk of McGill, Nev.

Funeral services were held at the city cemetery on Thursday when Bishop N.C. Poulsen and George Ogden paid tributes of respect to the decedent, and spoke words of comfort to the aged father, brothers and friends of the decedent.
