DORA RADKE
Mrs. Dora Huber Radke, 101, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, February 4, at a local nursing home. She was born October 12, 1901 in the Blevins Community near Eddy, daughter of Harmon and Emma Schronk Huber. She married L.D. Radke October 28, 1931 and moved to Hill County after her marriage. They farmed for a number of years in Hill County before moving to Fort Worth. They moved back to Hill County in 1946. She was homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God of Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband September 6, 2001; and one son, Melvin Lee Radke, June 13, 1948. Survivors include: one son, Milton Radke and wife, Brenda, of College Station; one daughter, Mildred Tipton of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; four brothers, Henry Huber of Temple, Truman Huber of Austin and Raymond Huber and Melvin Huber, both of Eddy; two sisters, Wanda Lee Hocker of Waco and Noma Hocker of Malone; six grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 6, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Al Crane officiating. Interment was at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.
