Last Rites Held For Edward Degner
Last rites for Edward W. Degner, Janesville, who died Monday, at Waseca Memorial hospital at the age of 67, were held Thursday at the First Lutheran church in Waldorf at 2:00 p.m. The Rec. Carl J. Gundermann was in charge of the servicve and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Degner has been ill six months. He was born in Vivian Township December 14, 1891, and married Lydia Jeddeloh of Waldorf on May 20, 1926. They lived on a farm in Freedom Township since their marriage.
Surviving are: his wife; one son, Marvin at home; one grandchild; two brothers; Fred of Janesville, George of Rochester; two sisters, (Caroline) Mrs. E. J. Bradley of Rochester, (Lillian) Mrs. J. Elmer Disch of Sioux City, Iowa.
