Gladys Swenson, 94, Kansas City, MO, passed away July 22, 2011. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27 at First Lutheran Church, 6400 State Line, Mission Hills, KS 66208. Private graveside in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church. Mrs. Swenson was born March 6, 1917 in Barnes, KS, daughter of Fred and Bertha (Rothlesberger) Rodick. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Harold Swenson; sons David and Paul Swenson; daughter Rae Ann Thiel and husband Russell; five siblings, three grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
