Rehn: ( b. Nov 4, 1912,d. Dec 15, 2003) "Pauline M ‘Polly' Rehn, age 91.—Of Ritzville, WA passed away on Monday, Dec 15, 2003 at the Ritzville Life Care Center. Pauline M Rehn, the daughter of Conrad and Anna Marie (Uhrich) Lesser was born Nov 4, 1912 at Renton, WA. She married Reuben Rehn on Feb 28, 1934 on his family ranch 12 miles west of Ritzville. She was a homemaker and farmer's wife, helping with the many chores on the farm. In 1948 she and Reuben moved into Ritzville and he continued to drive back and forth to the ranch until they retired in 1990. While living in Ritzville Pauline was very active in her church and the community. She was a member of Zion Congregational Church and Daughters of Zion; she was a member of the Ritzville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; was a charter member of the Sunshine Grandmothers Club; belonged to the Rebekah Lodge; worked as a volunteer for the Civil Defense Sky Watch Program and she liked to bowl. Polly was preceded in death by her husband Reuben in 1997, by four brothers and four sisters. Surviving is her daughter Joyce Geschke of Ritzville; six grandchildren, Tim Geschke and Kathy Vallone of Ritzville, Colleen Coon and husband Fritz of Benge, Michael Geschke and wife Stephanie of Odessa, Daniel Geschke of Seattle and by Rosa and Yolanda; 12 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Conrad ‘Coonie' Lesser of Ritzville. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, Dec 19, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Zion Congregational Church, Ritzville, WA, with Pastor Sandra Sparks officiating. Private family graveside services with vault interment will be held at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Home, Ritzville, WA is in charge of funeral arrangements."
