Victoria -- Donald Lauber, 43, died Wednesday afternoon at St. Anthony Hospital. He was born March 23, 1934 in Victoria, the son Michael and Cecilia Quint Lauber.

He married Martina Younger in July 1965.

A Barton County employee he had lived in Victoria all his life. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Hays and St. Fidelis Church, Victoria.

Survivors, his wife, at home; a stepson, Saul Kreutzer, Great Bend; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Albert (Shirley) Braun, Walker, Mrs. Howard (Carol) Foos, Great Bend, Mrs. Steve (Mary) Walter, Belleville, Ill., and Rose Kreutzer, Victoria; one sister, Rita Wasinger, Hays; one brother, Wilfred Lauber, Osborne; and nine step grandchildren.

Services 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Fidelis Church; church cemetery. Friends may call from 8 p.m. Thursday until the time of service at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria. Parish wake service will be 8:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
