Luna was the youngest child of Jens Christian Fonnesbeck (1858-1938) and his first wife, Anna Margaret Matilda Jacobsen (1856-1929)
Luna had long blond hair and blue eyes. She had a beautiful voice. She sang in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
1930 Census records indicate Luna was living in California. Teaching.
On July 29, 1930, in Golden, Colorado, Luna married Aaron J. Varney. (FG # 96562715 - there is another who could be her spouse, but details are so vague for them that I cannot with honesty make a link) Am not sure if they were separated or divorced before she moved to California. Some of her siblings' obituaries list her as Varney and some as Fonnesbeck. Aaron did remarry and moved. There were no children other than her students. I am sticking with Fonnesbeck.
***************************************
There are two records of her place and year of birth: 1891 Logan, Utah in the family records and 1892 Salt Lake City, on the Utah burial database. I am inclined to believe Logan simply because the rest of her siblings were born there. Since she is buried in Salt Lake City this could be where the discrepancy occurred.
