Mrs. R.V. Barry

Mrs. R.V. (Joan) Barry, 39, Omaha, died Tuesday at the Archbishop Bergin hospital, Omaha, after an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic church, Omaha, with burial in Calvary cemetery, Omaha.

Pallbearers were her nephews, Jerry, Jim and Mike Barry, Bob and David Lange and Steve Kolker of LeMars.

The former Joan G. Wilberding, she was born June 13, 1932, at Remsen, a daughter of Francis and the late Mrs. Marie Wilberding. She graduated from Holy Name high school at Marcus in 1950 and from St. Vincents school of nursing at Sioux City in 1953.

She married Dr. Richard V. Barry Dec. 31, 1953. She had practiced nursing at Veterans hospital, Omaha, for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Knott Wilberding.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Debra and Diane and two sons, Richard and Sean; three sisters, Mrs. Don Kolker of LeMars, Mrs. Tom Heuser of Marcus and Sandra Wilberding of Omaha; her father, F.B. Wilberding of Marcus and her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Knott of Dundee, Minn.
