He was survived by children:Wade L., Thomasville; Timothy H., East Berlin; Douglas E., Jeffrey R. and Emily J. Emig all at home; 4 grandchildren; three brothers, Clair and Kenneth Emig of Abbottstown; Laverne EMige, Spring Grove; five sisters, Lena Breighner, Erma Beck and Carolyn Holsopple all of Abbottstown; Doris Leas of East Berlin and Geraldine Roomsburg of Hanover.

Harold at one time was chief of police in the Abbottstown area as well as worked at Glatfelter Paper in Spring Grove.
