Ignacio Morales Garcia, 93, of Bay City passed away Wednesday September 19, 2007. He was born June 20, 1914 in Cuero to the late Domingo & Hilaria Morales Garcia.

Mr. Garcia was a life long resident of Bay City, and a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He also was a member of the: Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, St. Mary's Star of The Sea General Assembly in Freeport and 3rd Degree of Council 3070 in Bay City, Woodman of the World Lodge # 0168, and the 100 Club of Matagorda County.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife: Dolores Barron Garcia of Bay City; 3 sisters: Gloria Ramos of Angleton, Dora Garcia of Dallas, and Olivia Medina & husband Pedro of Bay City; 4 brothers: Domingo Garcia of Irving, Richard Garcia & wife Julia of Katy, Albert Garcia & wife Lucy of Markham, and Sammy Garcia & wife Gloria of Alvin; and by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters: Juanita Garcia and Estella Lopez; and brother: Pedro Garcia.

A Rosary will be recited 7:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
