Anna Ohlsen, 89, passed away Friday, August 18, 1967, at the Wilton Nursing in Wilton, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 21, at Frick Funeral Home in Durant, with Rev. Charles Marnan of St. Mathews Lutheran Church, Davenport, officiating. Burial will be in Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Anna Hass was born January 4, 1878, in Scott County, the daughter of Johan and Dorothea (Wulf) Hass. She received her education in the Scott County schools. She married Johannes Ohlsen on March 31, 1909, in Davenport. Together they farmed in Muscatine County, until they retired to Durant. Johannes preceded her in death on April 19, 1951. She was a 50 year member of Durant Royal Neighbors of American.

Surviving are one daughter, Alice (Samuel) Thulin of Cheyenne, WY; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters, Wilhelmina Suhl and Alvena Hass.
