Mr. Koopman died June 20, 2004, at his home. He was born April 27, 1931, at Carmen, Texas, to Arthur and Leonie J. Meinche Koopman. He came to this area in 1954 from Victoria, Texas.
He married Inez Gibson Aug. 8, 1968, at Victoria. Mr. Koopman was an oil field pumper with Roberts Oil and Gas Co. in Oklahoma City until his retirement. He was affiliated with the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Koopman, of the home; three daughters, Sebrina Arellanes, Ada, Nancy Renes, Ada and Peggy Lewis, Tulsa; one son, Glen Koopman, Ada; one stepdaughter, Charlotte Swing, Ada; two stepsons, Bobby
Ramer, Claremore, and Wayne Ramer, Okmulgee; three sisters, Martha Lee Tate, Virgie Lee Key and Cara Lee Ivy, all from Texas; four brothers, Wilburn Koopman, Vesteen Koopman, Kermit Koopman and Curtis Koopman, all from Texas;
and 10 grandchildren.
