On February 19, 1946, Harold and Marie Holtz were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manchester. They had six children: Ken, Danny, Linda, Mike, Harry and Deb.
The couple farmed for two years near Masonville, then moved to a farm near Greeley, where they lived from 1948 to 1955. They then moved to a farm just east of Edgewood, farming there until 1983, when they retired and moved into Edgewood.
Harold died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at his residence in Edgewood.
Harold was a faithful member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Edgewood. He enjoyed woodworking, playing cards and good jokes.
Survivors included his wife Marie Wulfekuhle of Edgewood; his children, Dr. Ken (Judy) Wulfekuhle of Edgewood, Danny (Becky) Wulfekuhle of Edgewood, Linda (Al) Williams of Edgewood, Harry (Kathy) Wulfekuhle of Edgewood, Deb (Larry) Philipp of Marion; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard (Vera) Wulfekuhle of Independence, Wilbur (Erma) Wulfekuhle of Manchester; three sisters-in-law, Helen Wulfekuhle of Manchester, Joanne Wulfekuhle of Independence, Alberta Ronnebaum of Earlville; three brothers-in-law, Francis (Wilma) Holtz of Edgewood, Edward (Leta) Holtz of Edgewood, Albert (Lucille) Holtz of Earlville and many nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mike Wulfekuhle; three brothers, Lawrence (Bernice) Wulfekuhle, Floyd Wulfekuhle and Arnold Wulfekuhle; one sister, Arlene (Ernie) Ronnebaum; one sister-in-law, Theresa (Joe) Demeter and one brother-in-law, Matt Ronnebaum.
