Emanuel Keil, 76, lifelong resident of area, died yesterday evening about 6:30 Ellsworth Hospital illness of 11 days, Jan. 5, 1958. Funeral waiting word from daughter in Indiana.
Born 8 June 1881 Milberger community he married Elizabeth Rein in 1903. Most of his life was farmer south Russell County, Galatia community, retired 1946 but continued to live on the farm in the Galatia area until they moved to Russell in 1953.
He was preceded in death by his wife Aug. 1955, daughter Naomi Varah 1954; brother Fred Keil. He leaves four daughters Mrs. P.E. Bergman, Osborne; Mrs. Woodrow Fisher, Wichita; Mrs. John Saxton, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Carl A. Dumler, Russell; sisters: Mrs. George Rein, Russell; Mrs. Conrad Baker, Oberlin; Mrs. J.J. Karst, Russell; 14 grandchildren.
