MRS. ALEX HEINZE - Hannah Heinze, daughter of Frederick and Eva Ehrlich, was born December 26, 1896, at the family farm home southwest of Russell. She departed this life on August 15, 1968 at Russell, Kansas. Her age was 71 years, 7 months and 20 days.

Hannah was baptized in early infancy and on May 28, 1911, she was confirmed in St. John Lutheran Church. On November 21, 1915, she was united in marriage to Alexander A. HEINZE in this church. Her husband preceded her in death on August 25, 1965, after nearly 50 years of companionship, devotion and faithfulness to his family. There were three children born to this union, all of whom survive their parents. The greater part of their lifetime was spent in farming and for 18 years they resided at Brownell, Kansas, where they operated a Cream Station along with thir farming activities. Then in 1950 they retired from active farming and returned to Russell to establish their home at 107 Franklin Street. Mrs. Heinze held the esteem and respect of all who knew her for her honesty, sincerity, kindness and devotion to family, church and friends. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

To remember and treasure her memory are the three children, Theodore A. Heinze, Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. Lilly Hester, Kansas City, Kansas; and Mrs. Pearl Margheim, Russell, Kansas; 14 grandchldren and 31 great-grandchildren. Also four sisters, Mrs. Mary Nuss, Mrs. Margaret Meier, Mrs. Mollie Steinle, and Mrs. Pauline Keller, all of Russell, and two brothers, Alex Ehrlich, Brownell, Kansas, and Ferdinand Ehrlich, of Russell.
