Amelia "Mollie" Steinle, daughter of Fredrick and Eva (Ehrlich) Ehrlich, was born March 25, 1898, Russell County and departed this life February 3, 1989, at the Lucas Nursing Center, Lucas, KS, at the age of 90 years, 10 months, and 8 days.

She was raised on the family farm southwest of Russell and attended public school. She was confirmed into the Lutheran Faith at St. john's Lutheran Church and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Russell, KS.

On October 20, 1920, she was united in marriage to David S. Steinle. To this union 7 children were born, 2 survive her. After their marriage, she and her husband made their home on a farm 2 miles east of Russell and in 1936 moved to Russell and established their home at 718 E. Third Street, where friends, neighbors and relatives were always welcome.

To treasure and cherish her memory are her sons: Elmer, 1224 Brooks, Russell; Gordon, K.C., MO; 1 brother, Ferdinand Ehrlich, Russell; 1 sister, Pauline Keller, Russell; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband David April 29, 1973; one son, Wilbur Dean Oct. 27, 1986; 1 daughter, Fern (Harmon) Deutscher on Sept. 26, 1975; 1 granddaughter and 3 children who died in infancy.
